Services related to CO2 technology in Mobile Air Conditioning systems:
- Design & optimization of CO2 systems and components
- Feasibility studies for alternative air conditioning concepts
- Modelling and Simulation of expansion devices, accumulators, heat exchangers and compressors in air conditioning systems
- Test rig for compressors with a large range of speed and refrigerant flow rates for measurement of efficiencies and indicator diagrams
- Design of CO2 systems for public transportation systems
- Calorimetric test chamber for mobile a/c systems
- Assistance in R&D projects and market studies related to the analysis and design of CO2 mobile air conditioning concepts
TLK-Thermo has a wide expertise in developing platform independent user specific software based on object-oriented methods using C++ and Modelica libraries for thermophysical data of materials and fluids, heat transfer and pressure drop correlations. TLK-Thermo developed the co-simulation software TISC, that is used by many companies to couple simulation programs. It provides training courses in the areas of simulation, measurement and software development.

TLK-Thermo GmbH was founded in 2003 as a spin-off of the Institute of Thermodynamics, Technical University of Braunschweig. The team of TLK-Thermo has been working together since 1996.
