A technical discussion forum, a jobs platform, as well as a personal member profile are only some of the new services the revamped version of R744.com will offer, starting from early next week. Following the feedback from partners and readers, the new R744.com has not only rebranded itself with a new logo and design, but has also strengthened its content and usability side to account for the rising information and exchange need regarding CO2 as a refrigerant, expressed by industry, public authorities, researchers, and end-users worldwide.
“The new R744.com is more than a website. It is a platform offering services that will allow experts worldwide to work, share and learn everything about R744 technology,” says Álvaro de Oña, Marketing Manager at Shecco.

Evolution process
Since the website was launched in 2006, the focus has shifted from Mobile Air Conditioning only to also cover stationary cooling and heating applications. Now, the growing market need of a fast-growing CO2 Community to exchange ideas, discuss technical details, and connect, has resulted in the next logical step for R744.com: the move towards a platform that builds upon its strength to serve as a joint space for CO2 experts of today and tomorrow, interested stakeholders, and end-users.

What will change?
New Content: R744.com will add a new Jobs Platform to connect prospective CO2 experts with pioneering companies and organisations. A complete section dedicated exclusively to our Partners, their products and services, as well as a moderated Discussion Forum will round up the range of new services, to be continuously expanded over the coming months.
New Functions: From next week on, readers of R744.com can register as full community members to benefit from a growing range of personalized features. Taking an active role in the new discussion forum, storing relevant files in your personal profile, and networking with other R744.com members will be only some of the services offered exclusively to our new members. Sharing, storing, and rating content all over the website will therefore become easy for users and members likewise.
New Design & Navigation: The new R744.com will change its look & feel to underline its move towards a more dynamic platform. Its new brand identity involves a fresh logo and attractive colour scheme, a more user-friendly navigation, including a tab navigation system, and a strong search engine offering an easy-to-use keyword search.
