Sensata decided to strengthen its partnership with R744.com to further raise its company profile and enhance product visibility. Based on a high level of satisfaction during the last months, the world leader for sensing and protection solutions is thus taking the partnership to a next level, upgrading from Bronze to Silver Partnership. The company is sure that this will draw global attention to its innovative range of sensors for R744 (CO2) systems. Sensata will also play an active role in supporting the early move of R744.com towards a technical platform.
As a new Silver Partner, Sensata Technologies will present its 3PP series for commercial A/C systems on the website soon. The Microfused Strain Gauge Pressure Sensors can accurately measure CO2 pressure in trans- and subcritical heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems. They are suitable for high-pressure applications of more than 2200 bar, such as specialty vehicles or CO2 compressors. Sensata has also developed a high pressure automatic safety switch for R744 systems.
