Dorin's compressor platform features high reliability and pressure resistance, running efficiently in different applications around the world. By using the most advanced tools, such as Finite Element Method (FEM), for designing the platform, Dorin's compressor come up to the highest quality standards.
After undergoing testing under the most severe load and pressure conditions, Dorin's CO2 compressors are now approved under the EU Pressure Equipment Directive to work with a PS value of 163 bar and Pss value of 100 bar (according to EN 12900).

Dorin's CO2 compressors – a success story
In 2004, the company launched a complete CO2 compressor range. Since then, more than 3,000 compressors have been running successfully on the field. Main applications include Japanese (Eco-Cute) and Korean hot water heat pumps, as well as commercial refrigeration systems, mainly in Europe. Dorin is partnering with globally leading manufacturers and retailers.
This year, Australia’s first trans-critical supermarket will be opened. The store, using Dorin's CO2 compressors for the refrigeration system, is expected to prove the reliability of CO2 installations also in very hot climates.

Background
Dorin was founded in 1918 as a machining center manufacturer, entering the field of refrigeration only in 1932 with its first open-drive compressor range. Since the early 50's, Dorin has produced semi-hermetic compressors, commissioning the first CO2 trans-critical type in 1999. The company produces more than 70,000 compressors per year.
