VIRTUAL VEHICLE will soon showcase on the website its activities in the field of mechanics, thermo- & fluid dynamics and virtual engineering. The independent research company will thus be the next partner of R744.com, strengthening its Engineering Services section.
ViF's R744 services
The VIRTUAL VEHICLE Competence Center (ViF) is a specialist in developing simulation models for R744 (CO2) Mobile Air Conditioning systems. Latest test results at ViF have proved that sophisticated simulation models that have been build with Dymola and the AirConditioning Library from Modelon, can help further enhance the performance of R744 refrigerant cycles. ViF has extensively worked on the optimization of complete R744 systems, combining experimental testing and simulation methods. This strategy thus benefits from a more integrated approach that takes into account the single components' interaction within the system.

Klaus Martin, Team Leader of ViF's Working Group "HVAC & Climate Comfort", is sure that "the high quality of simulation results allows the beneficial application of the simulation tools in the development process of the R744 a/c system and the entire vehicle."
