The global supplier of semi-finished products, Wieland-Werke AG, has now added its optimised tubes for heat exchangers in R744 Mobile Air Conditioning and Commercial Refrigeration systems to R744.com.

Wieland’s tubes for mobile and stationary applications feature high flexibility, excellent corrosion and pressure resistance, as well as increased heat transfer capability. Being available in customized dimensions, the copper alloy and aluminum tubes are therefore the optimal choice for heat exchangers, such as CO2 gas coolers and evaporators, internal heat exchangers, and connection lines.
Solutions for stationary and mobile applications
For the commercial refrigeration sector, Wieland has designed plain and innergrooved tubes of a special high-tensile copper alloy. The tubes are available in level-wound coils and in straight lengths to be processed on the same machinery (e.g. de-coiling, straightening, bending, expanding). In addition the copper alloy is weldable and brazeable for easy and reliable connection and installation. The high material strength allows for a significant reduction of wall thickness and for the lowest material costs.

For Mobile Air Conditioning systems, Wieland displays finned tubes (integral fins) made of aluminum, copper or other materials on request. The tubes feature an enhanced heat transfer surface outperforming e.g. plain tubes and allowing for smaller volumes and very compact designs. They are available with various fin structures and shapes to optimize the system’s performance.
