Freudenberg's PTFE piston rings, designed for the sealing of compressor pistons in CO2 car air conditioning, are highly resistant against explosive decompression. They show very low friction, minimal swelling, as well as no ageing over time.
Available as butt cut and closed versions, Freudenberg’s products ensure the secure compressor function, helping this key component to run safely and smoothly. The piston rings feature customized polymers, are easy to assemble and ensure minimal leakage at high temperatures.
