The aluminium tubing solution with silicon rubber cover material can absorb large torsional movements, is highly flexible during high-pressure operation, and permeation tight. Its simple construction allows for an optimised decouplement of relative movements between the engine fitted compressor and the body fitted gas cooler. It has been tested according to VDA (German Car Manufacturers Association) draft test specification.
Key features and advantages of the flexible aluminium solution are:
|
Main features
- Outer Diameter Discharge: 22 mm
- Outer Diameter connecting tubes: 10 mm
- Length Flexible part: 100 – 500 mm
- Narrow bending radius
- Pre-shaping is possible
- Low forces on connections
- Aluminium to aluminium joining
