EX6 Electrical Control Valve
Description

Emerson has developed a stepper motor driven valve for precise control of refrigerant mass flow in air conditioning, refrigeration, heat pumps, close control, and industrial process cooling applications. It is suitable for subcritical CO2 applications.


Basic Specifications

  • Applications: thermo-expansion duty with superheat control, liquid injection duty, hot gas bypass, evaporator pressure regulator, crankcase pressure regulator, head pressure regulator, or liquid level control
  • Multifunction as expansion valves, hot gas bypass, suction gas throttling, head pressure, liquid level actuator etc.
  • Fully hermetic design (no thread joints between valve body and motor compartment)
  • Stepper motor driven
  • Maximum working pressure: 45 bar
  • Burst pressure: 225 bar
  • Nominal capacity range: 24 – 244kW
