GBC ball valves
Description

For Retail Refrigeration: Danfoss has developed manually operated shut-off valves suitable for bi-directional flow. The ball valves are used in liquid, suction and hotgas lines in refrigeration and air-conditioning systems.

Technical Specifications
  • High precision laser welding: ensures a strong and a light slimline valve body design
  • One-piece wire seal cap: to prevent unintentional cap removal or tampering between services
  • Delivered with or without external access port
  • Temperature range: –40 to +150°C
  • Max. working pressure (PS/MWP) 45 bar (650 psig)
  • Test pressure: 65 bar (940 psig)
Advantages
  • Maximum tightness across the seat/seal
  • Operation within a broad temperature range
  • Design, weld and choice of sealing material optimised for high working pressures
  • Full flow with minimum pressure drop
  • Bi-directional flow, i.e. valve orienta¬tion is unimportant
  • Slimline design ensures easy opera¬tional handling
  • Burst proof spindle design prevents liquid from being trapped internally
  • Valve seat of special teflon to secure maximum tightness and a long life¬time
  • The available access port saves money if service of the system is necessary
