CBXP52 Brazed plate heat exchanger
Description

As one of the most recent product innovations, Alfa Laval designed the brazed heat exchanger optimised to withstand high pressures without the need of costly frames. Thanks to its specific design it can reach pressures as high as 70 bar at +90°C or 65 at +125°C. It can be used in transcritical systems as evaporator or intermediate heat exchanger, as well as in CO2 cascade systems and heat pumps.

Possible applications

Liquid/liquid applications:
- Domestic hot water heater
- Process cooling
- Hydraulic oil cooling
- Water/water cooling & heating

Refrigerant applications

- Oil cooler
- Condenser
- Evaporator
- Economizer
- Desuperheater
- Absorption systems
- Cascade
