How to use this Forum
The R744.com Forum is a moderated discussion platform that consists of Categories, Topics, Threads, and Posts.

Categories & Topics

Categories & Topics are defined by R744.com and/or the Forum Moderators to provide an overall structure and an easy navigation to the most relevant issues currently discussed. If you want to suggest a new Topic, click on the “New Topic” button below the categories list and send your proposal to R744.com.

Threads & Posts

Threads are discussions about a concrete subject of interest or a specific question (i.e. “Pros and Cons of LCCP approach” would be a thread within the topic “LCCP vs. TEWI”, under the category of “Mobile Air Conditioning”). Every registered member can start a new thread or add posts to existing threads. Posts are the single comments added by individual members within a discussion.

Moderators

Moderators are experts in the field of CO2 Technology that tend to the day-to-day running of a specific Topic in the R744.com Forum. Some Moderators are more active than others and might have different styles. However, they all ensure that the Forum Guidelines are not broken and that the Forum runs smoothly.

How to start a new Thread & add Posts

There are three ways to create a post:

  • Click on the “New Thread” button on the topics page. This will take you to the posting form, and, when you have posted, will create a new thread with your post as the first one on top. Other members can now post their replies to your new thread. Remember: Avoid creating a new thread if the subject is already discussed in an existing thread. For more details see our Forum Guidelines.

  • Click on the “Add a Post” button above or below the thread you want to add a comment to. This will take you to the posting form, and, when you have posted, it will add your post to the thread you replied to.

  • Click the “React to this Post” button in the upper right corner of a member’s post within a thread to reply only to his/her post. This will take you to the posting form, and will allow you to reply to the post.

Posting Form

When you add a new thread or post a reply, you are taken to the posting form, where to enter your post.

  • Subject - The subject of your post. If you start a new discussion thread, the subject is required, and it will be the name of the thread. If the post is replying to other posts in an existing discussion, the subject is not required, but may be added, and will be shown at the top of the post.

  • Message Body- A text area where your post is input. Plain text is the only thing allowed in this text area.

I just joined in on these forums and posted a thread.  When I went back to view it I am not able to read it, "Forbidden" pops up, yet I am able to read all the other threads.  Please help, I want to be able to read my responses.  Also I do not want my name displayed, bit would like to use my "user Name"  Thanks for your help.
