CO2 as refrigerant - market perspectives
Hello all,

as I'm currently working on my master thesis which partly also deals with the different fields of use for technically captured co2, I'm looking for some studies or other sources of information which deal with the market potential of co2 in refrigeration, i.e. how many tons of co2 could anually be used in the refrigeration section (including air conditioning). I would appreciate if any of you could provide me sources of information!

Thanks,
Christian

Christian,

Sharing info is always a good way to get others to send you info too. Maybe you have facts/ statistics to share yourself?

That pretty much depends on what you would like to know. Posting my current version of my thesis is probably not a suitable way to provide specific information. Plus, it is not written in english. Anyway, if any of you is interested, feel free to ask for more detailed information.
To give a short summary about the general content of my thesis:
It deals with the supply chain from capturing CO2 in fossile fired power plants to transportation and possible fields of use for the captured co2. These possible fields of use include among others the use in chemical synthesis processes, the bioconversion to methane (biogas) and the use as a refrigerant.
As I'm supposed to economically evaluate these processes, I need to get a gerneral picture about the market situation.
