Description:
The innovative rubber-bonded valve seals are suitable for charge ports for CO2 Mobile Air Conditioning systems in passenger cars.
Basic specifications:
- Micro sealing lip for high pressure application in CO2
- Resistance: materials 85 HNBR 230861 and 85 EPDM 232444 passed all tests regarding resistance to explosive decompression
- Oil compatibility: proven with PAG-oil (Fuchs Reniso ACC 46, Daphne Hermetic NF-F) as well as with PAO and POE oils
- Metal insert: brass
- CO2 leakage rate < 1 g/a without cap
- Temperature range: -40°C to 140 °C
- Metal insert: brass
- One solution for HP and LP side
- Developed in cooperation with Ventrex
Advantages: - Advanced rubber bonded design optimised by means of Finite Element Analysis
- Little swelling even at highest temperatures
- Small changes of the mechanical characteristics under influence of aggressive oils and odoration substances at elevated temperatures
- Because of the optimized composition FREUDENBERG materials 85 HNBR 230861 and 85 EPDM 232444 are very resistant against explosive decompression in alternating temperature tests
- Permeation limit can be kept for all fields of application
