The Epta Group has become a Gold Partner on R744.com.

Epta – the multinational group specialising in commercial refrigeration – has become a Gold Partner of this website. Headquartered in Milan, Italy, the group operates worldwide through its brands Costan, Bonnet Névé, George Barker, Eurocryor, Misa, Iarp and Knudsen Køling.

The Epta Group asserts its position on the domestic and international markets as a turnkey partner able to manufacture and provide complete refrigeration systems.

"As a leader in the refrigeration industry, we are committed to improving awareness and to promoting the use of natural refrigerants, also in emerging markets," Francesco Mastrapasqua, the group’s sales and marketing manager for refrigeration systems, told R744.com.

“Our systems can be customised and adapted to any climate condition and in stores of varying sizes, from superstores to convenience stores,” Mastrapasqua said.

Seeking to provide future-proof, environmentally friendly HVAC&R solutions that comply with the f-gas phase-down, Epta offers a range of CO2 systems that are efficient and flexible.

Full Transcritical Efficiency

One example of this commitment is the new Full Transcritical Efficiency (FTE) solution for improving the efficiency of CO2 refrigeration systems in warmer climates.

“With FTE, there is no reason why CO2 shouldn’t become a standard solution everywhere,” Mastrapasqua said.

"We're now presenting it all over the world, from China, to Australia, to South America. As a matter of fact we had the chance to present FTE at the UNIDO conference on low-GWP technological alternatives for commercial refrigeration that took place in Argentina last December,” he said.

“The FTE system represents the new industrial way for CO2 refrigeration. FTE is not just a technical solution – it’s a new business model,” Mastrapasqua said.

“It combines low cost, energy efficiency, and reliability in a very simple, global and industrial way,” he added.
