The leading Taiwanese heat exchanger expert has developed a new model to meet the challenges posed by high-pressure CO2 systems. The high strength heat exchanger, added to the R744.com database, provides efficient heat transfer while saving space and weight.
The heat exchanger, expanding Kaori’s established series, was especially designed to cater for the needs of the CO
2-using industry. Its patented stainless steel construction will significantly cut down the amount of materials and space used to save valuable resources. At the same time, Kaori’s heat exchanger features high system effectiveness and high endurance at only one third of the weight compared to a copper multi-tube traditional heat exchanger. Using a corrugated thin plate with counter flow design brazed by copper ensures an efficient heat transfer. This results in highest reliability and resistance at competitive costs.
The application spectrum for the heat exchanger ranges from EcoCute CO
2 heat pump hot water systems, R744 supermarket chiller cabinets and commercial air conditioning systems, to CO
2 cascade and booster systems.
The heat exchanger comes as a response to growing CO
2 markets in the world. With production plants in Taiwan and China, Kaori is already a well-established player on the market. The company expects to further expand its R744 business to other world regions, as it is already selling its conventional heat exchangers in more than 60 countries. Kaori decided to invest in the CO
2 heat exchanger series to further strengthen its business strategy of integrating both technology innovation and environmental responsibility.
