AGRAMKOW is well prepared for the use of CO₂ in next-generation Mobile Air Conditioning (MAC) systems. The Danish total solutions provider is ready to help carmakers speed up the process handling of R744 MAC by offering complete solutions for the supply of R744, the process executing (leak test, evacuation, charging), and the safety handling. For the high speed CO₂ charging in the MAC, AGRAMKOW has developed the patented ECO₂MASTER technology able to charge liquid CO₂ at a wide temperature range. The product, making the production of CO₂ MAC a more cost-efficient and accurate process, is aimed at all global carmakers deciding for the use of R744 in future vehicle cooling.

For the automotive aftermarket, AGRAMKOW offers climate service technology and couplings for the service area complying with the U.S. standard SAE J2769. This service unit is like the high speed unit based on patented ECO₂MASTER technology and has overcome the market requirement of emptying the supply bottle by almost 100%

In addition, AGRAMKOW has also developed charging solutions for the production lines of some of the world’s largest suppliers of commercial appliances, based on the ECO₂MASTER technology.

AGRAMKOW’s R744 involvement

Since 2001, AGRAMKOW has been developing and producing R744 equipment for the appliance industry in the commercial refrigeration and heat pump area, and simultaneously been working in close cooperation with German car manufacturers to develop an R744 service station according to VDA (German Automotive Association) requirements. As a result, AGRAMKOW was chosen as one of the R744 test partners in the VDA working group for the Automotive Aftermarket.

In September 2008, AGRAMKOW Fluid Systems A/S and Robert Bosch GmbH announced their intention to cooperate in the field of maintenance equipment for future R744 Mobile Air Conditioning systems. The cooperation will cover development, production, sales and service of R744 equipment, and will ensure a worldwide supply of service units for CO₂ MAC.
