Alfa Laval will join as R744.com Gold Partner

The global provider of specialized products and engineering solutions will give another boost to R744.com’s product database by adding a wide range of R744 heat exchangers and air unit coolers for commercial and industrial refrigeration, as well as heat pump applications.

The supplier of commercial and industrial refrigeration and air conditioning solutions will soon become a Gold Partner of R744.com to present its wide array of products featuring different types of heat exchangers and air unit coolers, including the following:

Semi-welded heat exchangers: Used in high pressure condenser and cascade units for industrial refrigeration units with a design pressure of 40 bar, Alfa Laval’s heat exchangers are especially optimised for natural refrigerants, including CO₂ and ammonia. They are preferably used in industrial refrigeration plants with an increased demand for heat recovery and when there is a need of a flexible construction which is possible to expand and is taking care of temperature and pressure variations as well. The semi-welded heat exchangers have a short stop time when service is needed due to the flexibility.

Brazed heat exchangers: Especially suited to work in cascade systems in e.g. supermarkets, the units are single or double refrigerant circuit units suitable to work in the range of 5-150 kW as cascade heat exchanger or as an evaporator. The range has 45 bar design pressure on both fluid sides and one frameless unit has 70 bar as standard. Compared to existing products, Alfa Laval’s heat exchanger show an up to 5% improvement in COP and a 20% increase in performance.

Air unit coolers: Able to withstand pressures of up to 50 bar as standard, higher levels on request. Their design allows for easy maintenance with immediate access to vital inspection areas. The high pressure series is available as an evaporator in pump operation for CO₂ allowing the unit to work down to -50°C in deep freeze rooms. Alfa Laval provides air coolers as ceiling coolers and unit coolers commercial and industrial line.
