As of today, you can build your own network within the global CO₂ Community. My R744.com provides you with various tools to keep in touch with your contacts by sending messages, joining groups, and sharing news & papers.

R744.com has taken big step to make it easier for the CO₂ Community on R744.com to interact. From today, every registered member can thus search for other members, view his/her Public Profile and send a contact request. Once confirmed as a contact, R744.com allows you to exchange messages directly from My R744.com – your hub to the world of CO₂.

The new services on My R744.com will make your experience more personalized than ever. After having added options to share news and upload papers, the personal profile will now allow you to find and keep in touch with individuals that could help you advance your research project, product development or career.

Connecting to like-minded users among 1,000+ registered members since the website’s re-launch in May, will also help you find partners to create or join a group. In a group, where access is restricted to invited members, all participants can schedule meetings, exchange files, discuss, and work on shared online documents. As all other features, you can access the groups you joined through My R744.com.

What to do next?

Over the next days, we will publish a series of short “How to” articles to explain the most important features on My R744.com. We will also prepare video tutorials showing how to navigate on MyR744.com.

However, to start with, and to make the new interactive tools work for you and other members, you can already do the following:

• Complete your Public Profile: for now only showing your most basic details. Fill in all fields about your person, your current work & studies and your projects in the field of CO₂. Most importantly, use your profile as a personal pin board to post questions, technical problems, contact requests or products you are looking for or need help with. Your “Needs” will directly appear under your name in the members search, making sure that the right people will find you.

• Try our Members Search to find contacts by name and/or organisation. Once other CO₂ Community members have completed their Public Profile, you will also be able to search by entering a keyword mentioned on a Public Profile.

• View a Public Profile: Once you clicked on a name in the members search result you can see basic personal details and – if already entered – more specific information about this person.
