Promote your paper on R744.com!

From today, every R744.com member can freely upload relevant presentations, standards, articles, or scientific studies to our Knowledge section. A new online-reading function including a summary and comments box will make reading, sharing and rating papers easier than ever before.

R744.com will open the most extensive online collection of R744-related documents to the CO₂ Community. Starting today, all registered members can add their papers with an impact on CO₂ Technology to the website, allowing other CO₂ experts or interested members to stay updated on recent developments in research, industry, or policy in different world regions.

There is no restriction in the type of document you can add. Feel free to upload scientific reports, technical standards, press articles, policy documents, or presentations held at conferences. However, to keep the high-quality level of the current collection, the R744.com team will do a quality check before your paper is fully visible on the knowledge section.

“The papers section is one of the most popular sections on the website. We get downloads all day long from across the world. Now we are allowing our members to upload and share their papers themselves to make this a truly interactive papers database,” says Álvaro de Oña, Marketing Manager of Shecco.

New: Online reading, summary & comments

From now on, there is no need to download a paper to see its content, as an online-reading mode lets you skim through the publication directly on the website. To enable a quick content overview, anyone uploading a paper can add a short summary of the main ideas, to appear below the paper. A new Comments box allows all readers to leave their questions, remarks and ideas regarding a specific document.

Of course, all features known from the previous paper section are kept: save a paper to My R744.com, share the publication with friends, and rate the paper for its content and presentation.

How to upload a paper

There are two ways to add a paper to R744.com:

• My R744.com: Log in to your private profile and select the “Papers” tab, where you will find an “Upload” option. Fill in all required fields and browse for your paper. Within 24 hours, your paper will appear on the Papers section on R744.com, if accepted. You will receive a confirmation email to inform you if your paper has been added.

• Papers section: Go to the Papers section under Knowledge, select “Upload” from the search menu on top and follow the same steps as from My R744.com.
  What next?

The “Upload Paper” function is the first new feature on My R744.com. Over the coming weeks, we will gradually add a news sharing tool, a members search, an internal messaging system and a Public Profile option, among others.
