Following feedback from our partners and users over the past months, R744.com presents itself with strengthened content, interactive services, a more user-friendly navigation and search system, as well as a fresh design. Under the tagline “Everything R744”, the revamped website now offers more personalised services to its Members who can register from today to capitalise on a wide range of features offered to a growing global CO2 community.

“The new R744.com is more than a website. It is a platform offering services that will allow experts worldwide to work, share and learn everything about CO2 Technology,” says Álvaro de Oña, Marketing Manager at Shecco.

  • Members section: After your FREE registration as an R744.com Member, you have full access to all additional features offered on the website, including a personal profile to upload own files and save relevant products, news, papers, policies or jobs from the website to your own profile page.


  • Discussion Forum: A moderated, easy-to-use discussion platform to satisfy the rising information and exchange needs regarding CO2 as a refrigerant in different applications and world regions. Every registered member is invited to start and participate in discussions covering questions of research, design & production, servicing, markets and legislation regarding R744 Technology.


  • Partners section: This space is exclusively dedicated to pioneering organisations driving CO2 Technology in different markets. A direct request function for the products and services displayed on R744.com enables Members to contact the right persons in no time.


  • Jobs: Following the rising market need for CO2 Technology expertise, R744.com has added a job database to facilitate the exchange between science and industry, thereby creating new opportunities for students, researchers, engineers, technicians, or marketers.
New functionalities
  • Navigation & Search: A new Browser tab system allows for an easy listing of news, products and jobs by application, date or popularity. Moreover, the general website search is complemented by a keyword search linking relevant news articles within one field of interest.


  • Design & Layout: The rebranded R744.com uses a more dynamic layout, including a fresh logo and a distinctive colour scheme to both strengthen the identity of its main sections and facilitate the navigation between them.

What next?

Jan, regarding your experiences with CO2 in Australia… yes, we understand your frustrations, that is why R744.com exists, to showcase latest CO2 products, companies and developments, in order to allow the refrigeration industry to take decisions based on best practice and knowledge.

Friends, very good new website and interesting articles.

As a retired consultant I recently visited the ARBS exhabition in Melbourne Australia and having been in the Industry for 45 years I was anxious this year to learn more about CO2 parts and pieces on this event.

My discussions with distributor sales persons ,regarding my question about CO2 parts because I would like to play a bit around with small CO2 systems , what part and pieces are available at your company.

Some answer where:

1. Never heard of.
2. Danfoss knows more than us !
3.Compressors only from Bitzer .
4.CO2 is nothing , DuPont has better stuff.
5. We only sell what customers ask for.
6.Think you've heard something but ..............................

May be your Institute may be able to help me, as I read that
Coke is installing ....( thousands of ) CO2 drinkcabinets
in Beiing . It might be intersting to know for the greater refrigeration industry public .What future mechanics have to do
or will be doing to grasp this new technology.
