The leading Japanese manufacturer of compressors and hot water heating systems for industrial applications will start showcasing shortly its range of CO₂ products on R744.com.

Mayekawa(MYCOM), the compressor brand of Mayekawa Mfg. Co., Ltd, is a market leader for industrial installations combining high efficiency and environmental sustainability. Promoting the development of CO₂ Technology in the last years, the company today offers a complete product range of screw and reciprocating compressors for CO₂ systems, covering a range from 3 MPa up to 15 MPa.

In addition, Mayekawa(MYCOM) has developed CO₂ hot water heating systems featuring a heating capacity of 50 kW – 70 kW. The models are suitable for hotels, hospitals, sports centers, or food factories. Its newly developed high-pressure compressor range has increased the heat pumps’ Coefficient of Performance to more than 3.5.

Mayekawa’s(MYCOM’s) involvement in CO₂ Technology started in 2004, when the company constructed its first large-scale ice making facility employing an NH3/CO₂ two-stage compression system. One year later, the company introduced the “Mayekawa(MYCOM) Eco Cute”, a high-efficiency 75kW class industrial / semi-industrial hot water supply heat pump using R744. The development of CO₂ components and systems is seen as a top priority by the company, which strives to accelerate activities involving natural refrigerants throughout the world.
