The leading supplier of refrigeration solutions presents a complete range of components used in retail refrigeration systems. The product series covers pressure transmitters, expansion and check valves, ball and solenoid valves, controllers for CO2 gas cooling, high-pressure switches, pressure controls, and gas detectors.

As the single most extensive upgrade to the R744.com products database so far, Danfoss has added nine new groups of components used in CO
2 applications for commercial refrigeration. Based on the experience gained from more than 150 CO
2 systems, Danfoss is now able to offer self-optimised systems with a longer system lifetime and low energy consumption. Moreover, the initial investment for subcritical R744 cascade systems will not be higher compared to traditional plants.
The products
Danfoss has added the following components to R744.com:
AKS 3000 pressure transmitter: The series of absolute transmitters with high-level signal use the piezoresistive measuring principle having been used in Danfoss transmitters for decades. As the pressure reference is a sealed gauge, atmospheric pressure variations will have no influence on regulating accuracy. All materials are designed to operate in tough environments, including large vibrations, humidity and temperature variations.
AKV expansion valves: The electrically operated valves designed for refrigeration plants are supplied as a component programme including a separate valve, a coil with a terminal box or cable, and spare parts in the form of upper part, orifice and filter.
EKC 326 controller: The component maintains the optimal pressure in the CO
2 gas cooler, ensuring that the highest Coefficient of Performance (COP) is achieved. Used both in transcritical and subcritical CO
2 cooling control systems.
EVR / EVRH solenoid valves: The solenoid valves for liquid, suction and hot gas lines are supplied complete or as separate components, namely valve body, coil and flanges. The new product generation is easier to install and allows for a safer mounting.
GBC ball valves: The manually operated shut-off valves suitable for bi-directional flow are used in liquid, suction and hot gas lines in refrigeration and air-conditioning systems. They offer maximum tightness while ensuring easy operational handling through their slim line design.
GD gas detection sensors: Danfoss’ gas detection sensors support a wide range of refrigerants, including CO
2. They incorporate an interchangeable pre-calibrated sensor board, making it easy to replace the sensor when service or the required calibration routine has been done.
KP pressure controls: The components protect air-conditioning and refrigeration systems against excessively low suction pressure or high discharge pressures. Being vibration and shock resistant, they reduce wear to a minimum and increase reliability.
NRVH check valves: To be used in liquid, suction and hot gas lines in refrigeration systems, the valves ensure the correct flow direction and prevent back-condensation from the warm to the cold evaporator. They can be supplied with flare and solder connections.
MBC 5000 high-pressure switches: The block-type compact pressure switches feature a high vibration resistance while providing an accurate monitoring of critical pressures. They are fast and easy to operate in severe industrial environments, and feature a high switch accuracy by repeating cycles.
