The Danish Technological Institute is recruiting two experts, an Energy Engineer and a CO2 Refrigeration Engineer, to satisfy the rising demand for sustainable heating and refrigeration worldwide. Find out below how to apply for these exciting opportunities.
Join the refrigeration expert team at DTI ! Facing a growing interest from global customers in its engineering services involving natural refrigerants, the Danish Techological Institute (DTI) is looking to expand its competence team with two engineers experienced in refrigeration technology. More specifically, DTI’s Centre for Refrigeration and Heat Pump Technology decided to use R744.com as a global channel to find qualified professionals specializing in R&D activities, product development, project management, and consultancy activities for sustainable heating and cooling solutions.

The Centre, currently employing a staff of 25, is thus looking for two individuals supporting the innovative, creative, and product-driven approach to assist the industry with planning, developing and testing heat pump and refrigeration solutions. Claus Schøn Poulsen, Centre Manager, is clear: "The Danish Technological Institute is facing a rising amount of incoming orders, as the demand for CO2 Technology is increasing rapidly all around the world. As a consequence, the need for qualified engineers providing cutting-edge results in terms of quality and supply is now higher than ever before. We are sure that the market drive for natural refrigerants will open up even more opportunities for researchers and project managers in the future."

Job Offers

The Centre for Refrigeration and Heat Pump Technology is looking for:

CO2 Refrigeration Engineer: The suitable candidate will be involved in teaching and organizing company-tailored courses, as well as consultancy and R&D activities related to CO2 and other natural refrigerants. Duties will comprise customer relations and complex project management. The ideal profile will combine a results-oriented, extrovert personality with sound technical skills.

Energy Engineer: This position is wide-ranging within the field of energy and refrigeration technology. The main focus is R&D-related tasks where the successful candidate will work with simulation models of systems and processes, and design and construction of energy technological systems. Crucial for the position of Energy Engineer is a thorough knowledge of thermodynamics and heat transmission. A knowledge of projects involving natural refrigerants, including CO2, is an asset. For more information, you can read the complete job descriptions attached. To apply, please send your CV and cover letter to Centre Manager Claus Schøn Poulsen at jobs@teknologisk.dk, indicating R744.com as the reference source.

To meet the rising market need for CO2 Technology expertise, R744.com will launch a job platform as part of its new version due April/May 2008. The website will thus facilitate the exchange between science and industry, creating new opportunities for students, researchers, engineers, and technicians.
